PEAKS

Agilent Data

PEAKS is able to read Agilent data, once it has been converted into mzXML format.

.D from ion trap

Agilent stores their data in a folder called a .d file. The .d contains all the data itself and the method files and ancilliary information associated. The data itself is stored in .yep format. The same CompassXport utility can be used to read the .yep, so this is what PEAKS does. An mzXML file is created inside the .D folder and PEAKS loads it for processing.
Agilent MassHunter software does not have to be installed on the same computer as PEAKS to read ion trap .d files; however, CompassXport does.

.D from QTOF

The Agilent QTOF has its own data format, but it's still a .d folder. The .d folder here contains a subfolder called AcqData which then contains all the data, methods and extra files.
The Agilent MassHunter software must be installed on the same computer as PEAKS.
